And on the 7th day...

Happy Sunday, readers. Thank you all for visiting this fledgling blog (over 200 times!) this first week. I've been having a great time writing for you all, (and eating for you all,) and I'm looking forward to more and more to come. But everyone needs a day off.

Also, I'd appreciate feedback in general. Comments are wonderful. I'd like to have yours. Feel like my posts are too long or too short? Does the orange background offend your sensibilities? Tell me. And if you've got recommendations for places you'd like me to review, please tell me. I promise to do my best to address any requests.

You may have noticed a lack of bar visits this last week. If you feel like someone who doesn't enjoy a beer is not to be trusted, I firmly agree. There haven't been any bar reviews for reasons. Reasons! But starting this week, they'll be showing up with the restaurants and occasional concerts.

You'll also start seeing delivery and takeout getting reviewed. Why? To someone who wasn't born and raised in Brooklyn, the idea that you can get pretty much anything delivered, at almost any time of the day, is amazing. The fact that I can have a Ban Mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee delivered at 11PM, or a strawberry banana smoothie and a vegan cookie delivered at 10AM, or even a short stack with bacon and scrambled eggs at 3 in the morning makes this city great.

A great city, and a great neighborhood, deserves great fans. You've got one more, Park Slope.
