Sunday in Park Slope

As I said before, Sundays are going to be reserved for minor editorial rather than reviews and such. This particular Sunday I just want to mention a few things I'm excited about:

Sir Patrick Stewart is apparently a neighbor now!? According to Brownstoner and FiPS, my favorite Enterprise Captain has a pretty sweet pad on the Slope now, so expect to hear some reviews of tea shops in the very near future.

The Olympics are drawing to a close. I'm actually not so excited about that as I am by the fact that news about the Olympics will also be coming to an end. I can only take so much of all my go-to online news sources being blanketed in stories about medals, disqualifications, scandals, and meals the athletes eat. I know that there are still other interesting things happening in the world. I'm looking forward to hearing more about them again.

I recently saw the trailer for Cloud Atlas. Just wow. I have no idea how everything I think that trailer promises I'll see will actually fit into one movie, but I could watch that 5 minute clip over and over again.

More Arrested Development is being filmed!? Yeah. I'm excited about that too.

Ok.  Here's a cool song on this hot weekend:

Enjoy your Mr. Waits. See you tomorrow.
